Ben Hanscom

Age: 13
In Deerington he has been here about five months and counting. He's friends with the Losers Club among others. He's trying to learn to fight so he can fight back against bullies, but he's a chubby kid and wears out easy. Ben gets crushes easy, especially if people are kind to him, but he also knows that crushes are just that, crushes, and after a while he suffers through it and gets over it. He's a good kid, in the 8th grade and trying to be tough for his friends. He likes to build things and is working on a club house for the Losers Club only.

Age: 20
Ben has lived in Deerington for the past 7 years, losing a lot o friends and gaining others. The Losers club is still mostly together and things have been 'Better than Derry' in general. He enjoys his life here and has, with teachings from people in town, grown to be a good fighter, stronger than he was. Still pudgey in the face, but he has muscle. He runs in the mornings and tends to train in the afternoons. He's going to college to be an architect. He's a goodhearted person, generally friendly but still struggles with love, life and his weight. The boy has a sweet tooth. He also has very bad PTSD because of living in this place, but he tries to hide it pretty well. It come in the form of insomnia, on top of his school and study, he just doesn't sleep well.

Age: 40
Sometime between 20 and 40 he got sent back home, to live his life the way he was meant to. Things got fucked up and he forgot all of Deerington, as well as Derry, until Mike called him back to join the others and to fight It again. He's an architect, he's a drinker, he has PSTD still thanks to It, and his social life is shit. He's returned to Derry and fought it, finally seeing for himself what happens to Eddie. What happens to all of them. He's brought back to Deerington just after thee end of events in Derry and he's not happy about it. He remembers the lost years in Deerington though. He'll be looking for his friend and bar. He's still friendly and charming, having lost the weight and got abs, but he's also a drinker and less likely to fall for random crushes an shit.
